Welcome to the Studios Video
Garsington Studios is a brand new performing arts space nestled within a quiet private estate in the stunning Chiltern Hills. Built with sustainability and practicality at its heart, it has quickly established itself as a significant hub for art and culture in Buckinghamshire — available for television production, music recording, conferences, rehearsals and much more.
When Garsington Studios needed to introduce their new space to the world, they came to us.
We were commissioned to produce a full ‘Welcome to The Studios’ film for their website — a piece designed to capture the unique character and atmosphere of the space, giving prospective clients an immediate sense of what makes it special. Alongside this, we crafted a punchy 30-second edit, optimised for their homepage and social media channels, built to grab attention and drive enquiries fast.
The result is two complementary pieces of content working together — one that tells the story in full, and one that stops the scroll.
WHAT DID WE DO?
Day 1
We set up on the first day and focused on the interviews with Creative Director, Dougie Boyd and Executive Director, Nicky Creed. This was achieved utilising a two camera set up with high quality audio recording and carefully considered lighting arrangements. Once we had completed the interviews we imported all the footage and backed up all footage from the day.
Day 2
Following on from Day one we arrived early on site to capture the 3 main studios. Due to the large internal and high ceilings in each studio we used a drone to film some of the interior shots mixed with hand held gimble shots for seamless smooth shots. We then focused on the exterior shots of the Studios in it’s entirety showcasing it’s wonderful location within the Chiltern Hills.
