GARSINGTON STUDIOS
Garsington Studios…a brand new studio space for the performing arts, situated on a quiet private estate within the stunning Chiltern Hills.
With sustainability and practicality in mind it is now recognised as an important hub for art and culture in Buckinghamshire.
We were asked to produce a ‘Welcome to The Studios’ video for their website and a 30-second edit to feature on their homepage and social media channels.
Garsington Studios can be hired for television, music production, conferences, rehearsals and more.
WHAT DID WE DO?
Welcome to The Studios Video: Day 1
We set up on the first day and focused on the interviews with Creative Director, Dougie Boyd and Executive Director, Nicky Creed. This was achieved utilising a two camera set up with high quality audio recording and carefully considered lighting arrangements. Once we had completed the interviews we imported all the footage and backed up all footage from the day.
Day 2
Following on from Day one we arrived early on site to capture the 3 main studios. Due to the large internal and high ceilings in each studio we used a drone to film some of the interior shots mixed with hand held gimble shots for seamless smooth shots. We then focused on the exterior shots of the Studios in it’s entirety showcasing it’s wonderful location within the Chiltern Hills.
THE RESULTS
We were able to hand over the main ‘Welcome to the Studios’ video, a 30-second highlight video, the full interviews and shorter edits for social media purposes.
The 30-second highlight reel is now embedded on Garsington Studios website and both videos have been well received by the team at Garsington Studios.
